:Baby Signing Time Instructor
Hello, my name is Danielle Mills. My childhood was spent surrounded by sign. My mom, who is now an ASL interpreter, learned the language alongside her Deaf sister. Only recently though have I come to understand its true value. When I found Signing Time online, I was inspired to learn more sign and to teach my little one the art. We started watching the shows when he was 6 months old, and by the time he was 12 months old he knew more signs than I did! I had to start watching the shows closer to understand what he was saying. I now have twin two year olds who also love everything to do with Signing Time. I believe it has reduced tantrums of communication with the twins just as it had with their older brother.
I had enjoyed this journey of watching my oldest communicate so well that I decided I wanted to teach baby signing time classes to help more parents enjoy communicating with their children before they can talk.
I have a background in Math Tutoring, Outdoor education, and Massage Therapy. I love teaching and am looking forward to this new opportunity. I am currently taking more ASL classes to deepen my fluency so I can communicate better and teach more classes in the future. Please email me for any questions! Excited to sign with you!
